APHI 503 - Introduction to the Historical Professions

Credit Hours: 3

A core course. This course will examine how people practice history in fields inside and outside of academia. The course will include guest lecturers who will share their experiences in the archives, in tourism, in business, in museums, and in the various sites where history is practiced. Charleston will serve as an online laboratory for the practice of history in all of its forms.
