CSCI 561 - Introduction to Computer Systems

Credit Hours: 3

This is a three (3) unit graduate course for teachers in STEM education with no previous background in computer science. This course introduces fundamental concepts of computer systems, including hardware, software, operating systems, system security, and emerging computing trends. Participants will explore how computers process information, manage resources, and optimize performance. The course emphasizes hands-on learning through practical exercises.
