CHEM 218 - Organic Chemistry Lab II

Credit Hours: 1

Prerequisites: CHEM 207  and CHEM 217  
Corequisite: CHEM 208  

Students will use the organic techniques that they learned in CHEM 217  to conduct reactions of aromatic hydrocarbons, amines, and carbonyl compounds.  Organic compounds will be characterized using melting point (MP), infrared spectroscopy (IR) gas chromatography (GC), thin layer chromatography (TLC), and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR)
