ASTR 105 - Foundations of Astronomy

Corequisite: ASTR 155  

The scientific and historical development of Astronomy. Topics include our place in the Universe, the history of Astronomy, the Earth-Sun-Moon system, Solar System formation, stellar properties, and a scientific description of planets, asteroids, and comets.
