Mission Statement
The mission of the Tommy and Victoria Baker School of Business is to educate and develop leaders of principle to serve a global community. The Citadel Master of Business Administration (MBA) program provides the advanced knowledge, skills, and self-awareness needed to obtain and advance successful careers as principled leaders in a changing global environment. Classes are taught online by our distinguished faculty who bring the strengths of real-world experience and research-informed insight to the program.
Admission Requirements
Requirements for admission to the program conform to the general regulations of The Citadel Graduate College (CGC) and the accreditation standards of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Admission decisions are based on a holistic review of previous scholastic performance and professional experience. An undergraduate degree in business is not a requirement for admission. Applicants can be admitted for Fall, Spring, or Summer semesters. Applicants may be admitted conditionally if their GPA does not meet the minimum 3.0 standard for admission. Students admitted conditionally are initially limited to two courses, one per 8 week term, and must receive a grade of “B” or better in each course to continue in the MBA program.
Applications to the MBA Program are accepted on a continual basis. Admitted Students may begin the program in any Fall, Spring, or Summer session. Applicants are encouraged to submit all materials as early as possible prior to the term in which they plan to begin. All material must be submitted to the Citadel Graduate College, which involves the follow steps:
- Completion of the online graduate application along with the non-refundable application fee.
- Submission of official transcripts from the undergraduate institution showing conferral of the applicant’s bachelor degree and transcripts from all postgraduate institutions attended.
- Submission of a resume detailing previous work experience.
