Mission Statement
The mission of the MS in Health and Human Performance with the Concentration in Coaching and Athletic Performance is to develop knowledgeable, skilled, and adaptable coaching practitioners capable of providing comprehensive athlete development services across a variety of athlete populations. These services include improving physical performance, enhancing recovery, and applying athlete performance monitoring techniques. Graduates from this concentration will be prepared to assume full-time assistant or head strength and conditioning roles, serving the needs of sport and tactical athletes.
Program Outcomes:
1. Health, Exercise, and Sport Science Masters students will receive field experience related to their intended future career
2. Health, Exercise, and Sport Science Masters students will understand, present and conduct research within their field of study.
3. Health, Exercise, and Sport Science Masters students will demonstrate thorough understanding of core curriculum.
