MECH 604 - Advanced Mechanics of Materials

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisites: CIVL 304 or consent of program director.
Advanced topics in mechanics of materials, including 3-dimensional stress and strain transformations, torsion of non-circular prismatic bars, shear center, unsymmetrical bending, curved beams, flat plates, elastic strain energy, and theories of failure and application to machine and structural design.
