Overview

The Department of Marketing, Supply Chain Management, and Economics is dedicated to preparing graduates with the intricate proficiencies needed to take on vital roles in organizations and achieve success in business.

Engagement in marketing, supply chain management, and economics classes within the department will prepare a student to understand the economy, economic markets, supply and demand, consumer buying behavior, product development, brand management, logistics, materials management to name a few. The curriculum a student chooses will build the basics of business fundamental knowledge, ethical decision-making, allow one to recognize the trends of today’s business environment. Students will be exposed to a unique blend of classroom and applied experiential learning opportunities to aid in selecting and helping prepare them for their chosen career in today’s dynamic economy.

Our program provides content and guidance regarding how to assess the moral and ethical dimensions of business decisions in a principled manner.

Professional Sales Lab

The Department of Marketing, Supply Chain Management, and Economics oversees the Class of 1980 Ethics in Sales Leadership Lab. Students use the Sales Lab as a place to practice sales role-play scenarios to gear up to attend Sales Competition. The Lab is as close to a corporate sales training setting as it can get. Graduates typically find themselves in corporate sales training soon after graduation and the sales lab setting help prepare those graduates for success.
