MECH 702 - Theory of Elasticity

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisites: MECH 604  (Advanced Mechanics of Materials) or consent of program director.
Plane stress and plane strain; 2-dimensional problems in rectangular and polar coordinates; strain energy methods; complex variables in 2-dimensional problems; the general equations of 3-dimensional elasticity.
