HONR 401 - Honors Directed Research I/II

Credit Hours: 3

Students conduct research under the direction of faculty members. The research need not be original with the student but may be part of a project which the faculty member is currently conducting or has conducted in the past. Before registering for an Honors Research course, students will work with the Honors Director and the supervising faculty to develop appropriate scope and research deliverables. An extra-departmental second reader or evaluator will be required for all projects. Students may complete multiple research courses, either continuing a single project over multiple semesters or researching multiple unrelated topic. HONR 401 designates a project as a continuation of a previous HONR 400  course. Honors Research may be counted as an Honors Strand Elective (ELES 30X .)
