BLAW 301 - Legal & Ethical Environment of Business

Course Description: Explore the legal system, with special emphasis on its relation to business. Examine federal and state regulations as well as the common law to arrive at an understanding of the legality, ethics, and social responsibility of business decisions. Learn concepts such as the judicial system, torts and product liability, administrative law and consumer protection, agency and partnership, contracts, the Constitution, criminal law, ethics, and fiduciary trust.

Restrictions: 4B, 3A, 3B, 2A, 2B, 1A, 1B
Notes: Minimum grade of “C” or higher required for BSBA degrees
