ELEC 318 - Electromagnetic Fields

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisites: ELEC 202 , PHYS 222 /PHYS 272  
Corequisite: MATH 335  or consent of the department head

Static electric and magnetic fields; experimental laws and their relation to Maxwell’s equations and their applications; Laplace’s equation; boundary value problems; time varying fields and plane waves.

Requirements/Required: Required of electrical engineering juniors.
