FREN 101 - Bonjour! French Beginners

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisites: Language not taken in high school and not a heritage speaker, or by permission of Dept. Head.
Designed for students with no previous experience with the French language. Basic functional communication on daily activities and immediate environment in the present. Emphasis on understanding, speaking, reading, and writing simple French; pronunciation; and vocabulary expansion. Cross-cultural similarities and differences stressed. Course conducted primarily in French.
