The mission of the Tommy and Victoria Baker School of Business is to educate and develop innovative leaders of principle to serve a global community.

The degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) is conferred upon satisfactory completion of an undergraduate major program of study within the Baker School of Business.
Course & Minimum Grade Requirements
All these majors share, in addition to the general education curriculum, a set of core business courses. In order to continue in their majors, students must achieve a grade of “C” or higher in each of the following core business courses:
All core business courses taken at The Citadel will count towards the major GPA.
Certain courses require prerequisites. If a course requires prerequisites, then the department has carefully reviewed the course and indicated that students need to complete the prerequisites prior to the first day of class to ensure students are appropriately prepared for the content covered in the course. Students may register for a course as long as they are registered for the prerequisite, and those prerequisites MUST be completed before the first day of class. Students who have not met the course prerequisites by the first day of class will be dropped from the course. Course prerequisites will not be waived.
Pursuing a Double Major
In accordance with the general policies and procedures outlined in The Citadel college catalog for pursuing a double major, students may choose to double major within the Baker School of Business. In addition to the general policies and procedures outlined in The Citadel college catalog, the Baker School of Business requires that students complete all major required courses and major elective courses (24 hours) for which no more than 6 credits can be double-counted in meeting the requirements. All other courses (core courses, business electives and general electives) may be double-counted in meeting the requirements.
