All core business courses taken at The Citadel will count towards the major GPA.

Certain courses require prerequisites. If a course requires prerequisites, then the department has carefully reviewed the course and indicated that students need to complete the prerequisites prior to the first day of class to ensure students are appropriately prepared for the content covered in the course. Students may register for a course as long as they are registered for the prerequisite, and those prerequisites MUST be completed before the first day of class. Students who have not met the course prerequisites by the first day of class will be dropped from the course. Course prerequisites will not be waived.

Pursuing a Double Major

In accordance with the general policies and procedures outlined in The Citadel college catalog for pursuing a double major, students may choose to double major within the Baker School of Business. In addition to the general policies and procedures outlined in The Citadel college catalog, the Baker School of Business requires that students complete all major required courses and major elective courses (24 hours) for which no more than 6 credits can be double-counted in meeting the requirements.
