Sport Management Minor

Objectives:

The minor in Sport Management is designed to provide a student the opportunity to learn about the unique role of sport in the society, and to assist them in developing management skills in a wide range of the sports operations, such as sport events, facility management, administration, and leadership abilities in sport organizations.

Competencies, Knowledge or Skills to be Achieved:

By completing the minor in sport management, students will acquire the essential knowledge and build the practical skills required for a competitive career in the business of sports. Examples of future career opportunities include interscholastic and intercollegiate athletics and amateur and professional sports organizations.
