CIVL 304 - Mechanics of Materials

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisites: CIVL 202  with a grade of “C” or better
Elastic properties of structural materials, internal stresses and strains, principal stresses and strains including Mohr’s Circle, axial, torsion, flexure, shear, bolted joints, combined stresses, shear and moment diagrams, beam deflections.

Requirements/Required: Required of all Civil and Construction Engineering juniors.
