MECH 498 - Mechanical Engineering Internship

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisites: Department Head approval
The student, on an individual basis, pursues advanced understanding by working for a mechanical engineering company. The scope of the activities is tailored to the educational focus of the student in consultation with the faculty advisor and the supervisor at the company. The student is required to provide weekly journaling, monthly supervisor evaluations, a final presentation, and a final report on the experience.
