Prerequisites:FSWI 101 or ENGL 111 Study of works of world literature to 1650, both western and non-western, from major cultural centers such as ancient Greece, Rome, and India; Medieval Europe; Tang China; and Heian Japan. Readings will include epics, plays, and lyric poems.
