ENGL 497 - Tutorial in Literature

Credit Hours: 3

A study of select works of literature and/or film designed to meet the needs of a small group of high-achieving students, such as those in The Citadel Distinguished Scholar Program. Students meet, individually or in pairs, weekly with their tutor, a member of the English faculty. Tutorials alternate between discussions for assigned readings and participation in essay conferences that culminate in the production of a long research paper.
