SPAN 424 - Spanish Film and Narrative

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisites: SPAN 202   or Permission of the Department Head
This course includes some major works of fiction that are representative of 18th ,19th ,20th, and 21st, along with their representations in multimedia formats, including film and television and an analysis of their alignment with cultural trends and historical perspectives. The connection between film and narrative, the study of major directors and authors in their context provides a broad perspective of 18th ,19th , 20th and 21st Century Spain.
