AERO 102 - Heritage and Values of the US Air Force Credit Hours: 1
Heritage and Values is a survey course designed to introduce students to the Department of the Air Force (DAF) and provides an overview of the basic characteristics, missions, communications, and organization of the United States Air Force (USAF) and United States Space Force (USSF). The course covers the tenets of airpower, what the DAF brings to the fight, as well as different career fields within the DAF. Communication skills are further developed through oral and written presentations. Leadership Laboratory is mandatory for AFROTC contract/pursuing cadets and compliments this course by providing cadets with followership experiences.
