CHEM 207 - Organic Chemistry I

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisites: CHEM 152 /CHEM 162  or CHEM 164  
Corequisite: CHEM 217  

A study of the aliphatic hydrocarbons, their preparations and reactions, with emphasis on reaction mechanisms and transformations.

 

Requirements/Required: Required for all chemistry majors and recommended for students wishing to complete a pre-medical, pre-dental, pre-pharmacy, or pre-veterinarian curriculum.

Chemistry majors must have a grade of C or higher.
