AERO 202 - Team and Leadership Fundamentals

Team and Leadership Fundamentals provides a fundamental understanding of both leadership and team building. The lessons and course flow are designed to prepare students for field training and leadership positions in the detachment. Classes on problem solving, critical thinking, and stress management will further prepare cadets for their field training experience. Communication skills are further developed through oral and written presentations. Registration for AERO 450 (Leadership Laboratory) is mandatory for cadets pursuing an Air Force or Space Force contract and compliments this course by providing cadets with followership & initial leadership experiences.

Lab: 2 hours (contract or cadets pursuing contracts)
Field Training approximately 14 days (typically summer after sophomore year)
