CIVL 307 - Materials Laboratory

Credit Hours: 1

Prerequisites: COMM 260  
Laboratory supplement to CIVL 304 . Introduction to the use of testing machines and equipment; strength and deformation measurements of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, concrete, and wood; properties of materials as determined by results of tests in compression, tension, bending, torsion; behavior of columns; use of electric resistance strain gages; use of ASTM specifications and test procedures.

Requirements/Required: Required of all Civil Engineering juniors.
