NURS 451 - Community and Population Health

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisites: NURS 405 , NURS 415  
Corequisite: NURS 461  

Implementation of evidence-based community and population health nursing practice in health promotion, maintenance, and restoration in individuals across the life-span. Students will compare and contrast diverse community population needs to identify disparities and barriers to care within vulnerable populations. An additional focus will be on developing community-based interventions to meet the needs of diverse populations.
